April Safety Meeting – FAAST Seminar
In place of our regular safety meeting, we encourage all members to attend this special seminar on navigating San Francisco’s Class B airspace at Truckee-Tahoe Airport, located in the terminal building.
The discussion will focus on arrivals and departures at SQL, HAF, OAK, SJC, and HWD, with additional insight on LVK and CCR. For those feeling ambitious, they’ll even explain what’s involved in landing at SFO. A former San Carlos Airport tower manager will also participate, offering valuable perspective from the controller’s side of the frequency.
If you fly in Northern California, or plan to, this is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and safety awareness in one of the most complex airspace environments in the country. We hope all members will attend.
Please note that advance online registration will be required to attend. We do not yet have the registration link, but we will share it with members as soon as it becomes available online.
