This section is for people who are interested in learning to fly through the Flying Club.

We offer a spectacular training experience through our Part 61 flight school for club and non-club members alike. We are always working towards our goal of sharing aviation with the world, and because of that, we do everything we can to help our student pilots excel. HSP is committed to providing student pilots everything they need to feel confident going into their exams, and the real world as a private pilot.

Student Pilot and CFI Perform a Pre-Flight

Our Certified Flight Instructors are committed to providing our students with everything they need to feel confident going into their exams, and the real world as a pilot.

We have a 100% success rate in training our student pilots, and support them every step of the way, from ground school to their solo cross-country and beyond. In addition to our experienced and patient CFIs, HSP offers an optional all-inclusive ground school to ensure that our students pass their pre-solo quiz, written FAA exam, and oral exam with exceptionally high marks, and feel that they are truly equipped for life beyond their check-ride.

Student Pilot and CFI after successful Cross-Country Flight!

Our Instructors have a wealth of knowledge and years of experience. They have seen and done it all and can help you through any issue you may encounter on the road to your pilot certificate. Whether it’s running into a roadblock getting your 3rd class medical (color-blindness and some medications can pose problems with the FAA, but with help from an instructor they can be easily taken care of), working with your hectic schedule, or creating a unique training plan for student pilots interested in a career in aviation, no matter how specialized. At HSP, our instructors are dedicated to giving you the flight training you want and need, to cater to your level of knowledge and ability, and even give you a leg-up on your resume for your future aviation profession.

At HSP, we understand that the cost of flight training can seem intimidating, but rest assured, you can learn to fly on any budget. Our staff and Instructors are happy to work with you to help you achieve your goal of solo flight without breaking the bank.
